How do I switch from Test Mode to Live Mode?

This article explains how to apply for Live Mode in PayPay for Developers and what to check when switching from Test Mode to Live Mode.

Apply to use Live Mode

1. Log in to PayPay for Developers.
2. Use the environment switcher in the upper-right corner of the dashboard and switch to Live Mode.
3. Click the Activate Now button in the merchant registration area.
4. Enter the required information and submit the application.

Items to check before switching to Live Mode

After applying, check that the following settings are not still using Test Mode values.

• You are using the merchant ID, API key, and API secret for Live Mode.
• The API endpoint URL is for the production environment.
• The source IP address used in the production environment has been registered.
• If you use Webhook, the Webhook URL for the production environment has been set.
• The scopes required for the features you use have been set.

If you use an SDK

If you use an SDK, confirm that the SDK environment setting, API key, and endpoint are for Live Mode. If Test Mode settings remain, errors may occur in the production environment.

If an error occurs after switching

If an error such as UNAUTHORIZED occurs after switching to Live Mode, check the authentication information, endpoint, source IP address, and signature timestamp.
